Refuge Temple Church - Washington D.C.

Elder W. Michael Fields was called to the ministry during his early teen years and has been a minister since the age of twenty. During these years, Elder Fields worked closely with his father, Bishop W. G. Fields, as a Youth Pastor and Minister of Music. He also served as President and Choir Director for the Bronx Dioceses at the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a Minister, Elder Fields conducted many revivals and tent services throughout the country.

In 1987, Elder Fields founded the United Youth Crusade Ministry. Under the umbrella of his ministry, youth people of all denominations united for the purpose of ministering to other youths on the streets of New York and introducing them to Jesus Christ. This ministry also brought youth people together for the purpose of fellowship, participating in anointed workshops and singing in the united ministry choir. Many souls were delivered and saved through this ministry.

On August 12, 1991, Elder Fields was ordained as an Elder in the Churches of our Lord Jesus Christ. In August of 1992, Elder Fields was appointed National Evangelist and in 1993 he was appointed Assistant Pastor of Refuge Temple in Washington, D.C. where the Chief Apostle, William L. Bonner is the Pastor. Elder Fields Fields was most recently elected by his peers on August 11, 1998 to serve as the Corresponding Secretary to the Board of Presbyters of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.

Elder Fields is a husband, songwriter, accomplished musician, counselor and servant of Christ.

Elder Fields' ministry is still thriving and being a tremendous blessing to the people across the country. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Elder W. Michael Fields recently received his Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education from the W. L. Bonner Bible College, Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith located at 4450 Argent Court in Columbia, South Carolina 29203 in June of 2002.

A Celebration of Christian Studies was held in his honor on July 6, 2002, where Elder Keith Young of the Holy Temple here in Washington, D.C. anointed us with the Word of God.
